The holy Kumbh Mela will be organized at Ujjain from 22nd April to 21st May 2016. Over fifty millions pilgrims from all over the India and abroad are likely to visit the temple Lord Mahakaal and take dip in Holy Ksipra river. The genesis of Kumbh dates back to the Vedic times and is associated with the legend Sagar Manthanâ Churning of the Ocean. This much revered Indian occasion, that comes every twelve years, has traditionally provided platform to thinkers and religious leaders to engage in dialogue on matters both spiritual and temporal relevant to their contemporary times.
Recognizing the need to continue this great tradition, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has organized an International Convention. The objective is to hold discourses on various aspects of human welfare.

As run up to the international conference four thematic conferences were also organized on following topics - Value based life, Religion for welfare of human being, Global warming & Climate change, Science and Spiritualism. |
